How it Works!

This meeting will be an opportunity to discuss your fitness goals, previous and current injuries, current lifestyle and all of this information will help me to form an accurate picture of your current fitness status. It’s also the perfect opportunity to talk about the best times for you to train and work out how many sessions you will need.

Assessment
To design a personal and specific programme for you I will need to perform a posture analysis, range or movement patterns and flexibility, to find your weakness’ and identify those stubborn areas.

A Typical Session Plan

  • MOBILITY WARM UP – Activate lazy muscles, decrease risk of injury.
  • MOVEMENT PATTERNS – Increase flexibility, prepare body for workout ahead.
  • EXERCISES – Corrective training, core busting, strength and endurance for tone, shape and build.
  • CARDIO – Increase fitness, burn calories, endurance building and develop speed through fun sprints, boxing, jumping, stepping, weighted movements.
  • COOL DOWN – Reducing pace and intensity to decrease heart rate and risk of stiffness the next day.

Lets reduce pain and dysfunction in the body, increase the confidence and competence. Through light stretching and movement patterns we will get functional to achieve a pain free life.

Exercise Rehabilitation helps create a better balanced body, by utilizing specific functional stretches and exercises to stretch those muscles that are tight and strengthen those that are weak.

Exercise Rehabilitation is a key component to recovery from a number of injuries ranging from back pain to shoulder impingement especially after the acute phase has reduced.

Most clients have been dissatisfied with previous treatment. They often feel they were not listened to properly about their main concerns or goals. Our primary inquiry from prospective clients is that they have a recurring injury that stops them fulfilling their sporting desires or that they feel frustrated not being able perform normal daily tasks without pain.

My solution is to give you the tools needed to achieve your long term goals in the most efficient way. I achieve this by listening to your worries, commitments/challenges, detailed history, Plus Why is achieving the goal important to you.

Detailed posture analysis and specific functional exercise can help alleviate common lumbar vertebrae pain and posterior pelvic pain, offering pregnant women more mobility and flexibility during their pregnancy, a must for the modern woman!

Focusing mainly on these muscle groups and any other stubborn areas we can achieve a perfect look together. Friends and partner to-be may need a little help too! It’s an ideal present leading up to the wedding.

A fun programme including boxing/kick boxing, light weights and abdominal circuit training is perfect to target the waist, lower abdominal’s and the back area to give you that amazing V shape. Whilst shedding those calories the arms become smaller and more defined. Pump up the music in your home or show those dog walkers how it’s done in the park.

If boxing/kick-boxing is not your thing, there are plenty of alternatives such as aerobics, power walking, jogging, Dino band training, Swiss ball workout, weight training, floor exercises, yoga and core.

A well balanced and healthy diet is essential for your health and well-being and is crucial to achieving your fitness goals. By creating a food plan tailored to your needs you can accomplish your fitness ambitions, whether its weight loss, increasing muscle mass or intense sports training.

What is a healthy diet?

  • 5 servings a day of dark green leafy and root vegetables.
  • 3 servings or more a day of fresh fruit.
  • Good mix of proteins.
  • AVOID any form of sugar, added sugar and refined foods.
  • Eat only ‘Good’ CARBOHYDRATE Foods

Do you need to loose weight?

Most people who follow the numerous crash diets around try to burn calories fast without taking into account any lifestyle changes or eating habits. This turns into Yo-yo dieting and Sugar bingeing!

Does your belly bulge?

The most common causes stems from improper eating and lack of exercise. Other reasons are:
